DODIL ERP brick: manufacturing

README.md

erp-brick-manufacturing

Make your own products: write down what goes into each one (bills of materials), run production orders on the shop floor (issue the ingredients, report what came out), and settle what each batch really cost against its standard. Slices A and B (0.2.0) of manufacturing v1 (erp-method modules/manufacturing, signed 2026-10-25).

Built: bills of materials (versions, release, obsolete, usage production and sale, modifiers, cycle check, the GET /boms/{product_id}/explode route pos calls), the production order workflow (create, release with a frozen BOM and a component-availability gate, issue by lot, report output and by-products with genealogy, complete, approve variance, close and settle, cancel), the controls (dated settings), the outbox that tells inventory and gl after the commit, and the signed process at GET /process/bpmn.

Slice B adds: work centres with dated rates and routings (what a batch takes and costs), the standard-cost roll-up approved and released to inventory by a second person, staleness when an input changes, MRP-lite (planned orders from sales-order demand, forecasts, stock and safety stock, rounded up through product; firm and convert; the dependent requirements inventory's replenishment reads), operation confirmations that post activity cost to gl, scrap with a reason and a planner's approval, reverse_entry (an operator's own wrong entry, the same day, by a mirror), a lot trace forward and back, the Odoo slice (load, reconcile, sign, discard), and the explain_variance AI step (the owner's mode, suggest only, audited).

Stories: all built (MFG-01 to 18 and 20 to 32; see AGENTS.md for the spec gaps and what is not built, notably the capacity warning at release).

Needs an erp-method checkout beside it (../erp-method, or ERP_METHOD_DIR): the process and every neighbour call are checked against it. Licensed Apache-2.0.
